Stepping out of Singapore and crossing international borders into various regions of Asia-Pacific, this time SACEOS was represented by Mr Daniel Chua, VP (Meetings & Incentives) from the SACEOS Executive Committee as one of the conference speakers at TAITRA's Destination Marketing Seminar held in Hualien, a city in Taiwan on 17 - 18 November 2017.
With kind invitation from the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Mr Daniel Chua shared about Singapore as a MICE destination and how the country has retained international appeal and its position as one of the top Asian Meeting cities as recorded in the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) rankings. Accredited as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Mr Daniel Chua also deliberated on the impact and importance of attaining the international designation in the industry. The neccessity of professional development has been a key element in establishing continuity to stay ahead in the industry. Not only has it increased Singapore's economical value, industry members' professional knowledge were optimised which in turn, has branded Singapore as THE destination for international markets.
