- Pre-IECM Seminar and Conference (24 November)

This program is designed to equip current or future AMC owners and principals with the knowledge to overcome challenges faced during the first stages of AMC growth. This practical information-packed course will tackle the information you need to know to lead your company, and the associations it manages, to success including legal and insurance safeguards, selecting facilities and staff, industry standards and best practices, and strategies for taking your AMC to the next level.
 
Current global trends are changing the business landscape of the M&I industry in the region. The conference will tackle the issues of current trends and challenges and provide in depth the various positions through a case study, discussions on procurement, the importance of training and positioning for the new business landscape.
The inaugural MICE Employability (ME) in the Tourism Industry 2008 is the first employment exhibition exclusively for the MICE industry. The aim of the event is to increase awareness of MICE in Singapore, provide employment opportunities and information on possible career progression to serious jobseekers and career switchers to join the industry.

- AIF Award Gala Dinner (25 November)
The Industry Gala Dinner will be held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront ballroom. This prestigious event will highlight the Approved International Fair (AIF) Award Presentation. The AIF Award, administered and evaluated by the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau (SECB), is held in the highest regard and is bestowed upon organisers whose shows are high quality industry events with international appeal.
